New Version of Final Fantasy VII Now Available for Download on PC

Time to sharpen those Buster Swords, boys and girls. Square Enix has announced that the new version of Final Fantasy VII is now available to download for PC.

Originally released on the PlayStation in 1997, the game was made available to PC users back in 1998. This latest version, though, is digital, and contains some modern features.

While the game was not given a graphics boost, it does feature new updates including the Character Booster, which fully powers up a character, in-game achievements and an optional cloud save.

Final Fantasy VII was once heralded as one of the greatest RPGs of all time. Those who are interested to experience Cloud Strife's adventure ' and long-time fans who want another go ' should find this latest edition more than worth the gil.

The game is available for $11.99, and can be downloaded at Steam, Amazon, GameStop or the Square Enix online store.

Happy adventuring.
